We learned this week that one downside for staying in a place for only one week is that you don't get a lot of flexibility for sightseeing. We were hoping to go to Omaha zoo, but the weather just wasn't cooperating, which was particularly disappointing since we had Monday off for Labor Day. So instead, we found a local outlet mall, which was nice for those rainy days.
Even though the weather ruined our sightseeing, we did try to enjoy our time at our campsite. I particularly enjoyed seeing all the grasshoppers and prairie sunflowers.
