About Us

Hello! We are Maggie and Josh! We are full-time RVers living on the road. We started back in August 2025, and we’re here to share our journey with you.

A little bit about us: we are a childless couple in our late 30s with two dogs, Tobias and Lucy. Josh is from Wisconsin, and Maggie is from Virginia. We met in Wisconsin, where we got married. We later moved to Virginia for several years before going full-time on the road.

We love both cozy nights in and traveling to new places. We’re pretty friendly, and you’ll find we can be chatty. But when our social battery runs low, we love our “cozy hobbies.” We both love Legos and video games. Maggie love lots of arts and crafts, and Josh loves wood working.

We work remotely and are not debt-free; we have a car payment, the camper payment, and a mortgage. We rented our house instead of selling everything before moving into our RV.

Our RV

We are living in an East to West Della Terra 250BH. It’s a 30 feet travel trailer (tip to tail), 25 feet inside front to back of livable space with no slides. It has a back bunk and bathroom. Our kitchen has a microwave, 3-burner stove, RV-size oven, and a 3 quarter fridge. Our “living room” has a dinette booth and a jack-knife couch. Our bedroom is separated from the living room with a king-sized bed.

How We Start RVing

We started as “weekend warriors” when we bought our RV in 2022. We were living in Virginia at the time, so most of our camping trips were in Virginia. We quickly fell in love with camping. When life allowed us, we tried to camp at least once a month.

We both tend to get kind of restless in one spot for too long, so we knew we weren’t going to be living in Virginia permanently, but we dreaded the act of moving. Eventually, we started thinking about living on the road to experience more places without the hassle of moving. And then, the stars kind of aligned, and we were able to start this adventure.

Why We RV

We decided to start living out of our RV for 3 main reasons:

1. We love both traveling and home life. - We want to see so much of the world. We love planning road trips and trips to new places. But we also are cozy homebodies. We love video gaming, game nights, arts and crafts, cozy movie nights, etc. And we just like to be in our own bed. So we thought camper life is the best of both worlds: traveling the U.S. while still coming home each night.

2. We wanted to enjoy our life before retirement. - We see lots of people traveling and enjoying the world in their retirement, but we’re impatient and tomorrow is not guaranteed. We wanted to enjoy it while we were still young.

3. Tobias and Lucy - We love our dogs, and we want to prioritize their needs, so we need to have a stable home for them. If we were traveling from a sticks and bricks, they would need to be put in a doggie daycare or dog sitters all the time. By living in our camper, we can travel and still come home to them every night.

If you have any questions about our life or anything you’d like to learn more about, please let us know.
